Bring on the Holidays!
Nothing makes me more nostalgic than the holiday season. No matter your age, there’s something so magical and exciting about this time of year. Maybe it’s the twinkling lights everywhere, festive music in every store, the smell of freshly baked cookies wafting through your house, or coming in from a snow storm to enjoy your favourite warm drink by the fire. There’s a collective feeling of joy and excitement that seems to connect complete strangers to one another.
I wanted to evoke these same feelings in curating our Holiday Collection this year. Nostalgia, joy, and a feeling of coziness.
I’m always drawn to vintage inspired pieces, and our new ornaments have really hit the mark! A vintage look, mixed with pop culture references, (Elton John, David Bowie and Golden Girls lovers unite!) My personal fave is Santa on a unicorn… could they be any cuter?!
Anyone else a huge puzzle fan? It’s such a great activity to enjoy with the family, or for a little bit of alone time when you need a break! We’ve brought in the most beautiful and bright floral and zodiac puzzles to bring some colour to those long and cold evenings. For something with a little bit more energy, try our new vintage-inspired board games! Fans of Candyland, Sorry! and the Mystery Date game will adore these nostalgia editions from the 50’s and 60’s.
